My name is Mari Danielle Contreras, a multi-disciplinary creative from the borderlands of South Texas. I specialize in designing for life poetics: the beauty and poetry of everyday life. My love lies in the cooking, craft, home and fashion sector because those are the things that enrich my life personally.

Life poetics is a phrase of words I once read in a poem. It made me think of the beauty, joy and simplicity of every-day life, not only internally in mind and soul, but in our physical world as well. A world of surroundings that we create intentionally (and unintentionally) by the products and services we use in our lives. My design goal is to help people achieve life poetics by designing in a way that is soft, beautiful and intuitive so that the products and services used enrich daily life, not hinder it.
